Mannequin Paintings
Kindergarten artists used shapes to draw a mannequin figure from observation. They then painted their figure using a primary color (red, yellow, or blue) and mixed a secondary color (orange, green, or violet) to paint their background. They finished their background by drawing a pattern using a variety of lines with colored pencils.
In the examples below, Kindergarten artists used oil pastels for their wooden mannequin drawings and liquid watercolor paint to create a colorful abstract background.
